Why Did KPC Install the Web Cam? - By Gary Turner, KPC Director
Over the past weeks I've been asked a few questions about the web cam that was recently installed in the Commons. Since there seems to be some confusion and rumors floating around campus I thought it would be prudent to clear up any misconceptions about the camera and explain why it has been installed.

Ben Bailey and Jason Battiest to Perform at KPC - Bigtime comedy is coming to the Kenai Peninsula. The first ever "Comedy Showcase" will take place at 8 p.m. March 14 on the KPC campus, and will feature New York-based comedian Ben Bailey.

BOOKS, BOOKS, AND MORE BOOKS - Things are just in the planning stage now, but come fall semester, the KPC bookstore should have a new look. Plans are to utilize the area, which now contains a TV and a few sofas, for expanding the existing bookstore.

KPC Fall 2003 Schedule Cover to Feature Student Art - As a means to showcase KPC talent, the students attending the Computer Art and Design class, taught by Associate Professor Jayne Jones, have the opportunity to compete in a cover art contest.

Kachemak Bay Students Focus on Fitness and Films - The Student Association at the Kachemak Bay Branch of KPC has kicked off a Health and Wellness Campaign. The group has made wellness awareness their focus this semester.

KPC Links Both Campuses With Interactive Video Class - Students attending the World Civilizations II class every Monday and Wednesday mornings are participating in "an exciting experiment in presenting a course to a regular size class in multiple locations
