River Sportfishing Association to Annually Award
$28,000 in College Scholarships - The Kenai River
Sportfishing Association recently announced the establishment of two scholarship
programs aimed at assisting students with full tuition scholarships who
are or want to pursue studies in biology, fisheries management and other
conservation-related fields.
Student Employment
at KPC - Many students need jobs to help pay college
expenses, but are unable to find ones that don’t conflict with class
schedules. The answer for some may lie in the student employment opportunities
here at KPC.

Price of a Bagel - Joe’s has always been a haven for
the hungry folks at Kenai Peninsula College: The quaint hole-in-the-wall
café is as much a part of the college as any classroom.

Barnes Accepted by Brooks - KPC student Anna
Barnes has been accepted to the Brooks Institute of Photography in Ventura,
California. She’ll transfer there next fall to pursue a three-year
degree in film and video production.

Soon at KPC- Curt Wallace,
Accounting Supervisor of KPC, says that sometime in January KPC will be
getting its very own ATM- automatic teller machine.
What Faculty
are Doing - Faculty members of Kenai Peninsula College
are asked to perform a number of jobs not directly related to their teaching
duties. These jobs are critical to the successful operation of the college,
and make the learning experience more valuable for all students
