Director of Administration's Glance at the Past, Vision for the Future - Forty years ago, at the beginning of Kenai Peninsula College, there were a handful of pioneers, led by Clayton Brockel, who had a vision for higher education on the Kenai and breathed life into the institution we know today.

Baseball post-Season Wrap-up - What a post-season this year brought baseball fans! There were walk-off homeruns, walk-off base hits, and plain old beat-downs. Any way you look at it, it was just downright exciting.

Where Did the Commons Television Go and Why? - I walked down to the commons to take a break and watch the news, but the television was gone! Where has the TV gone? Why is the TV gone? Some students have breaks in between classes and use it as a good time to catch the news, or meet new people by asking them what they'd like to watch...

Child Psychology course promotes service learning - Child Psychology 245 lab students have been involved in Service Learning projects throughout the semester.

Gamers Unite! - Role-Playing Games (RPGs), Customizable Card Games (CCGs) computer games, table-top games, paintball, and even Radio Controlled vehicles: if you enjoy any or all of these activities than you may be classified as a "gamer," and as such you might be interested in the KPC Gamers Association, a new group forming here at KPC.

Arctic Winter Games - The Arctic Winter Games bring together people from the Arctic and Northern regions of the world for athletic competition, cultural exhibition, and social interactions - And the 2006 games will be held right here on the Kenai Peninsula!

If they can put a man on the moon… - By the time this article is being read, the election will already be over. The winner, however, may not have been clearly determined. This issue speaks to a real problem in our democratic system.

KPC offers Associate Nurses Degree - Here at last! With tremendous effort and persistence of Dr. David Wartinbee and many others, obtaining a two-year Associate Degree in Nursing is finally possible at KPC. Originally, room for eight students was planned. There was so much interest and enthusiasm for this class, however, that class size was bumped up to ten, and then to 12 students.
