Board of Regents decides fate of tuition increase - A message from Todd Marshall-Closson, KRC Student Union president and speaker for the Coalition of Student Leaders (CoSL)…Enrollment is up at Kenai Peninsula College - Despite earlier projections of a fall semester decrease, the Kenai Peninsula College student population is up 5% this semester, with over 1500 people enrolled, according to the latest KPC statisticsKPC and AWG 2006 work together - KPC and the Arctic Winter Games will be helping each other out. The Games are coming to the Peninsula in March, bringing with them thousands of athletes, cultural performers, and spectators from throughout the Arctic region. At KPC, various classes are including an AWG service-learning component.Commentary: Martial law in New Orleans - To start off, I'd like to say I have read a lot about the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and the things going on. For example, I've read the horrifying statement of the president's mother, Barbara Bush: "And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway so this (she chuckled)-this is working very well for them.How to manipulate your friends and family- Have you ever wondered how those wild photos on crazy greeting cards are made? Well I have, so I asked Debbie Sonberg, an instructor for the Digital Imaging: Photoshop class. I found Sonberg in her office in the Ward Building near the computer labs, and asked her about the course.KPC
